ART X Live! takes its cue from ART X Lagos’ 2026 theme, New Chapter, New Decade, spotlighting a generation of artists reshaping African sound in real time. This year’s line-up moves across the spectrum of contemporary African music: from Kunmie’s melodic, songwriter-led vision of what Afrobeats can become, Lulu’s soulful fusion of Yoruba musical sensibilities and contemporary UK sound to Taves’ African-inflected pop.

Together, these artists reflect a musical landscape in transition—one that honours inherited forms while making space for bold new possibilities. Their work is rooted in place, language and culture, yet expansive in its influences and ambitions. ART X Live! celebrates this spirit of evolution: a gathering of voices that look beyond familiar categories to imagine the sounds, stories and creative futures of the next decade.
