SPOTLIGHT GALLERY
Adegbola Gallery, founded in Lagos in 2025, presents a research-led programme championing materially rigorous practices that examine space, history and perception. Through solo exhibitions, curated group shows and long-term collaborations, we support artists at pivotal stages of their careers, while our secondary-market programme highlights 20th-century Nigerian modernists. Beyond the gallery, we realise public-art projects with civic, architectural and cultural partners, bringing contemporary art into Lagos’s urban landscape. Since opening last year, we have presented an ambitious exhibition programme, participated in Art X Lagos and 1-54 New York, establishing Adegbola Gallery as an energetic and influential presence locally and internationally.
