Nike Art Gallery was founded by Chief Nike Okundaye, an artist, philanthropist and cultural icon, and opened in September 2009. The gallery was established to promote and provide a sustainable environment for the growth of African culture through the arts in Nigeria. Spanning four floors, it showcases works from Nigeria and other African countries. Since its inception, the gallery has continuously and positively transformed the landscape of art and culture in Nigeria. With works by over 500 artists on display and 25,000 art pieces for sale and appreciation, Nike Art Gallery is a tourist destination and cultural hub in Lagos, Nigeria.
