Founded in 2021 by Nigerian‑American curator Ugonna Ibe‑Ejiogu, Yenwa Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Lagos dedicated to advancing emerging and mid‑career African artists. Originally a nomadic platform, it established its permanent space in 2023. The gallery works closely with artists to support the long‑term development of their practices through conceptually driven exhibitions.
Yenwa has placed works in leading institutional and private collections, including the FirstRand Group Art Collection (South Africa), The Kinsey Collection (USA) and the Ilesha Trust (UK). In 2025, ARTnews named Ibe‑Ejiogu a top gallerist in Lagos.
