Temitayo Ogunbiyi uses line both as a conceptual tool to trace how communities relate to their environments and as a formal element when representing reality—be it material, cultural, botanical, or educational. Her artworks connect people with their surroundings often through playful acts that prompt critical reflection on how geography is shaped by nature, people, and history. In 2016, Ogunbiyi began an ongoing series conceived with the declarative phrase, "You will." The works in this series focus on what it means to cultivate fellow-feeling and community across differences.
Responding to Lagos as an urban spatiality, Ogunbiyi's work You will advocate for what you believe utilises drawing, painting, sculpture, and site-specific installation to invite conversations about community, care, and movement. It presents art as a participatory tool for rethinking the urban environment—not as static infrastructure, but as a living, breathing space of communal negotiation and possibility.

Her diverse works—including drawings, paintings, sculptures, and installations—forge dialogues between global communities, anthropological histories, and botanical cultures.
Ogunbiyi’s recurring subject addresses systems that capture and direct the movement of people and matter. Drawing inspiration from daily observations, such as the use of affirmation in Nigerian prayer, her series are conceived with declarative titles beginning with "You will." These works connect stories of transnational relationships, reflecting generations of people journeying across lands and seas to link communities and question divisive boundaries.
